MEETING MINUTES
Minutes of the parish meeting held on 5th March 2024 at Lady Fraiser room, Surfleet.
Present.
Councillors: Cllrs Alan Tokley (Chairman), Elizabeth Jones, Trevor Wright, James Lacey, and Philip Godderidge and Granville Hawkes (Clerk).

Apologies for absence: Cllr Caulfield and District Cllr Sneath. |

Public Forum: No public members present. |

3. |
Approve minutes of the previous meeting January 2024: These had been circulated, on the proposition of Cllr Lacey, seconded by Cllr Wright were agreed by all and signed by the Chairman as a true record. |

4. |
Matters arising: Barclays Bank have provided a revised mandate to add Cllrs Lacey & Wright to the mandate. |

5. |
Highway matters: The Clerk advised that District Cllr King will meet LCC Highways in the village this month, Councillors asked the Clerk to report the following issues that need attention,

Cemetery matters Cllr Godderidge reported that David Lewis will remove the dead tree in the cemetery this week. Currently the mole and rabbit problems is not an issue. |

Finance report: The Clerk reported the following cheques for issue, 101151 Clerk salary £ 242.57 101152 Clerk salary £ 235.07 101153 HMRC £ 91.60 101154 SHDC £ 293.23 vat £48.87 101155 St Laurence Church £ 95.00 101156 CWC £ 2,028.00 vat £338.00 The Bank reconciliation was circulated and was agreed by members. |

Planning: The Clerk confirmed that planning applications had been circulated and actioned with comments reported to SHDC. The Clerk reported planning application H17-1097-23 from Naylor Farms, Simon Naylor the applicant had been delayed by discussions between LCC & SHDC, the Clerk will monitor any developments. |

Members reports: TW – continues to monitor fly tipping reports from parishioners, need an update from Dist Cllr Sneath about the rubbish situation opposite the chip shop. JL – concern about parking in Stockhouse Lane if there is an event in Crown Inn PG – has repaired the bus shelter in School Crescent and will repair the damage in Station Road. |

Correspondence: The Clerk reported the National grid issue about pylons running into Norfolk/Lincolnshire, members agreed for the Clerk to object. |
