Public Forum:

No public members present.

Approve minutes of the previous meeting Noveber 2024:

These were read out at the meeting, on the proposition of Cllr Jones, seconded by Cllr Godderidge were agreed by all and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

Matters arising:

The Clerk reported that he had written to Cllr Stokes for an update.

Highway matters:

The 30mph signs need moving to reflect recent building of new houses on Reservoir Road.

Two speed signs had been damaged in Stockhouse Lane.

The Chairman requested that the Clerk write to LCC highways regarding average speed cameras on the A16.

Cemetery matters

The dead tree still needs to be removed, as per the Sterma quotation, the Clerk will chase them to complete the work.

Members agreed that the xmas wreaths should be removed at the end of the month.

Finance report:

The Clerk reported the following cheques for issue, which members agreed,

101188 E Sterma & Son                £     168.00 vat 28.00

101189 David Lewis                      £     875.00

The Bank reconciliation was circulated to members.

The Clerk reported that the precept had been requested.

Planning:

The Clerk confirmed that planning applications had been circulated and actioned with comments reported to SHDC.

Surfleet United Charity:

The Clerk contacted the Charity secretary and was referred to the Chairman Glynn Waltham
