SURFLEET PARISH COUNCIL
MEETING MINUTES
Minutes of the parish meeting held on 15th November 2022 at Lady Fraiser meeting room, Surfleet.
Present.
Councillors: Cllrs Glynn Waltham (Chairman), Philip Godderidge, James Lacey and Trevor Wright.
In attendance: Granville Hawkes (Clerk).
1 Apologies for absence:
Cllrs Caulfield and Tokley.
2 Public Forum:
No members of the public present.
3 Approve minutes of the previous meeting October 2022:
These had been circulated, were agreed and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
4 Matters arising:
The Clerk reported that with the LALC website support the parish council site was now up to date.
5. Highway matters:
No new issues
6. Cemetery matters
Cllr Godderidge reported that the rabbit problem had been eradicated.
Dai Lewis will tidy the war memorial before Remembrance Sunday.
7 Finance report:
The Clerk reported the following cheques for issue,

The Bank reconciliation was circulated and was agreed by members.
The Clerk had circulated the 2023-2024 budget/precept which was agreed by members with no increase in the precept.
8. Planning:
Applications have been circulated and actioned, the Clerk confirmed that he had asked for a member of SHDC planning dept to attend a future meeting.
